Mr. Pohly has represented buyers and sellers of businesses in many different industries and counseled family businesses regarding routine commercial transactions as well as extraordinary events and business succession issues. He has served as an outside director of middle market companies and adviser to family investment companies. He has organized charitable foundations, venture capital firms, real estate development companies and other businesses. He represented business and individual clients in general corporate and commercial matters, estate and business succession planning, real estate purchases, sales and leasing, wills, trusts, probate, elder law, purchases and sales of businesses, formation and administration of corporations, partnerships, LLC’s, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, formation of family foundations, not-for-profit entities and medical practices.. Mr. Pohly is a 1968 graduate of the Cornell Law School (J.D.) and the Cornell Business School (MBA) and a 1964 graduate of Colgate University (BA).
