I served as the lead trial attorney for a litigation firm located in Chicago from 2005 through late 2010. During that time I handled lawsuits involving a plethora of legal issues, including personal injuries, contract disputes, insurance related issues, product liability matters, construction defects, and real estate.. In 2010 I relocated to Colorado with my family  and have focused my practice on personal injury claims, product liability matters, contract disputes and commercial/business issues.. My personal injury practice is comprised of slip-and-falls, car crashes, bicycle accidents, defective products and more.  I have represented clients with debilitating physical and cognitive injuries.  I review all personal injury matters referred to my firm and I am very selective in the cases we accept.  I pride myself on pre-litigation case development and assessment.. As part of my vehicle-related product liability practice, I oversee vehicle and scene inspections throughout the country and depose experts in the fields of accident reconstruction, vehicle dynamics, vehicle mechanics and biomechanics.  My product liability practice extends into tires, oil and gas wells, human transportation systems and beyond.  My genuine passion and interest for “how things work” helps fuel and propel my products practice into multiple arenas.. My commercial practice is comprised of local business issues, officer-director disputes, mortgage origination disputes, complex business disputes and complex contract disputes.  I am fortunate to serve as outside corporate counsel for local businesses and I relish the opportunity to work with start-ups..
