I have successfully represented hundreds of homeowners and associations in their defect claims across Colorado in arbitration proceedings and at the district and appellate court levels.. I have presented Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses and HOA management credit classes regarding construction defect litigation with a focus on the interpretation and impact of Colorado’s notice of claim process and statute of limitations.  I also testified before the Colorado Supreme Court regarding pilot project rules impacting the industry.. My legal practice has covered other areas of law including product liability defense, natural resources and real estate. This diverse legal background gives a unique understanding of the complex issues often involved in construction defect litigation.. I attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, where I obtained my B.S. in Speech with honors in 1999. After working in the marketing department for Vail Resorts, I obtained my J.D. with honors from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 2004.
