Mr. Griego is a trial lawyer experienced in personal injury, complex civil litigation and criminal defense. In 1997, he began his legal career in Los Angeles, representing major corporations in product liability, toxic tort, contract, and class action lawsuits. Mr. Griego relocated to Humboldt County in 2001, working as a Trial Deputy in the Humboldt County Public Defenders Office. Mr. Griego has successfully tried numerous jury cases to verdict and achieved multiple million dollar awards for his clients.. Mr. Griego's law firm, Janssen, Malloy has more than 150 years combined experience.  In 2011 Janssen, Malloy achieved the largest jury verdict in Humboldt County -- $677 million -- on behalf of nursing home residents who resided in understaffed facilities.. In 2011 Mr. Griego was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyer Magazine, Northern California for work in personal injury and criminal defense.  Mr. Griego, along with his partners W. Mr. Griego attended Arizona State University (B.S. 1992) and the University of Arizona College of Law, earning his law degree with top honors (J.D., 1997, summa cum laude). While in law school, Mr. Griego was elected Articles Editor for the Law Review and received an award for publishing the Best Student Note. He is a member of the California State Bar and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Central Districts of California..
