Ms. Lim started her legal career in 2008 and began exclusively practicing Workers’ Compensation defense in 2011. Since then she has successfully represented employers, insurance companies and third party administrators throughout Southern California. She has experience handling all phases of Workers’ Compensation litigation from AOE/COE issues to lien issues. Ms. Lim implements a cost effective defense strategy, which has resulted in many early settlements and take nothing awards, including on denied AOE/COE claims. Additionally, she has successfully obtained numerous nuisance value settlements at depositions and hearings to help mitigate client costs. Ms. Lim is a strong believer in the practical importance of early case resolution and strives to resolve cases in an expeditious manner for her clients.. Ms. Lim works in the Orange County office of Coleman, Chavez & Associates. There she joins a team of professionals covering workers’ compensation matters of all kinds throughout all of the Orange County WCAB District Offices. At client requests, Ms. Lim occasionally covers matters in the Los Angeles and Inland Empire District Offices.. Ms. Lim is also fluent Korean, both written and oral. She is computer certified by Westlaw in legal education and training using all of their investigative techniques. In her spare time Ms. Lim enjoys reading, cooking, and being physically active.
