An Oakland native, Matthew D. Haley joined his father J. Frederick “Doc” Haley’s law practice in 1982, where together they built a thriving and respected practice representing clients in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, and medical negligence claims.. Matthew Haley is a graduate of UCLA and received his law degree in 1982 from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While in law school, he worked for the San Francisco insurance defense firm of Lynch and Loofbourrow, and clerked in the Law and Motion Department of the San Francisco Superior Court for the Honorable Ira A. Brown, Jr.. Matt has developed a reputation as a skilled litigator and is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest rating available.
