Leah's practice focuses primarily on complex class action and single-plaintiff employment litigation. She defends clients in state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and settlement negotiations against claims including Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, and the FLSA. She also conducts workplace investigations and training programs. Additionally, Leah regularly counsels clients on employment contracts, severance agreements, business conduct standards, workplace investigations, disciplinary hearings, risk assessment, human resources, compliance, corporate training, and other employment-related matters.. Since 2017, Leah has been selected by her peers as an "Emerging Lawyer" and/or a "Rising Star" in the field of employment law. The Emerging Lawyers designation comes from the Law Bulletin. It is reserved for attorneys younger than 40 years old (or practicing for less than 10 years) and accounts for less than 2 percent of licensed Illinois attorneys.
