Prior to joining the firm., Kristen interned in the policy division at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.. Kristen graduated from Miami University in Ohio, cum laude, in 2007, where she received a B.A. in Political Science, with minors in European Area Studies and History. As part of her B.A. program, Kristen studied abroad in Luxembourg.. As a native Chicagoan, Kristen stays involved in her community as a member of various civic foundations. Kristen was a chosen presenter at the Eat Well, Live Well, Move More 2nd Annual Conference on Improving Health, presented by Building a Healthier Chicago, and has been invited to co-host a divorce planning seminar at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Kristen assisted in drafting the second edition of the Child Custody chapter for the Illinois State Bar Association’s Family Law Handbook.
