Robert J. Slobig is the president of Torshen, Slobig, Genden, Dragutinovich & Axel, Ltd., a highly regarded Chicago litigation firm. His practice is concentrated in complex commercial litigation, representing a diverse clientele of individuals and businesses. He has tried cases involving business torts, contracts, real estate, insurance, intellectual property rights, partnerships, securities, fraud and professional negligence of attorneys and accountants. He earned the J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 1982, and an A.B., magna cum laude from Marquette University in 1979. Mr. Slobig was a partner at McDermott, Will & Emery between 1989 and 1994. He is admitted to the bar in Illinois, in the U. S.
