FERRANTE:     is the principal in the law firm and a trial lawyer with over 30 years of litigation experience.  He has worked for and with some of Chicago's top trial lawyers before starting his own practice in April, 1991.  As the principal of the law firm, Mark Ferrante has successfully litigated or settled various complex personal injury matters involving serious injury or wrongful death caused by medical negligence, products liability, premises liability, construction accidents, swimming pool accidents, and motor vehicle collisions and has obtained multiple settlements which have exceeded $2 Million.     Although his office is located in Chicago and he is licensed in Illinois, Mark has litigated or settled matters in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Utah, Wisconsin, and in Canada. He has also served as co-counsel or referred matters involving: divorce-domestic relations, real estate, probate-wills, employment discrimination law, police misconduct-civil rights, workers' compensation, immigration, real estate and business law.  Mark is currently serving as co-counsel with Kriendler & Kriendler for a client who was injured during a fatal landing crash of a Southwest Airlines jet at Midway Airport.      Mr. Ferrante is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice (formerly theTrial Lawyers of America), the Illinois Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association, and he has been an annual guest speaker concerning professionalism in the legal profession at Chicago-Kent College of Law's "Law as a Profession" day-long seminar given to law students to teach new lawyers the importance of professionalism in the practice of law and fulfilling clients' needs.  In May of 2005, Mark was one of only three lawyers who received an "Excellence in Pro Bono and Public Interest Service Award" from the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois for his work as trial bar appointed counsel for the Plaintiff in a lawsuit involving a stabbing incident at Cook County Jail.
