Anthony is an aggressive and proactive attorney practicing in the areas of military law, security clearance representation, federal labor and employment, private employment/corporations and criminal defense. As a Partner at Tully Rinckey, Anthony has served as Managing Partner of three separate offices - Buffalo, Syracuse and Binghmton and as the Practice Chair for three separate practice areas - Military Law, National Security/Security Clearance and Education Law. Anthony serves as a member of the firm's Executive Committee and as the Chair of the firm's Business Development Committee. Anthony is the Chair of the 2019, 2020 and 2021 VETCON Alliance and the Chair of the Bar Asscoiateion of Erie County's Committee for Service Members and Veterans' Legal Issues. Anthony co-founded and instucts as an adjunct professor the University at Buffalo School of Law Veterans Law Practicum. Anthony has spent more than 26 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve. He has served as a senior drill sergeant, first sergeant and acting commander of a combat engineer drill sergeant company and acting Operations SGM at a Brigade Headquarters. As an attorney, Anthony has successfully represented service members, veterans, federal agents and employees in actions involving administrative separations, medical disability retirements, criminal matters, security clearance revocations and suspensions, VA service-connected compensation matters, ROTC disenrollments, and more. Anthony has represented many clients before the DOHA, DOE, DHS, FBI, military Administrative Separation Boards, multiple branches' Formal Physical Evaluation Boards (PEB), ROTC Disenrollment hearings, hearings before the Board of Veterans Appeals, and more.. Anthony is a VA accredited attorney and is admitted to practcie before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the Criminal Court of Appeals for the Navy-Marine Corps, the Criminal Court of Appeals for the Air Force, The Army Court of Criminal Appeals, and the Armed Forces Criminal Court of Appeals. Anthony is also currently a member of multiple not-for-profit boards, and he serves as general counsel for local for profit and not-for-profit corporations.
