To gain more litigation experience, Charlcee left the federal government for a position with the State of Arkansas as a deputy prosecuting attorney with the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office in Bentonville. During her three years as a prosecutor, she tried over 500 cases involving both criminal and traffic matters.. Prior to attending law school, Charlcee attended the University of Arkansas, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In May 2011, Charlcee received her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law. While in law school, she worked in the Juvenile Criminal Defense Clinic, representing youth charged with criminal violations in front of Judge Stacey Zimmerman in Washington County Circuit Court, Division 3.
