“I feel like I am the luckiest lawyer in the world to not have had a case against David Lawrence. He is one of my go-to colleagues for his knowledge of landlord-tenant law. Just the other day I asked him whether I could use the fact of ownership from an FED case to preclude the issue of ownership in a quiet-title case (I represent landlord/owner in both cases). On the tip of his tongue he had the case that said “no”—Bunch v. Pearson (possession is the only issue in an FED). I wish there were a David Lawrence app!”
