Woody also worked as a trust officer for more than three years at First Union National Bank (now Wachovia Bank), and is a certified mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.. Woody is a member of First Methodist Church and currently serves as attorney for the Town of Waynesville. He is an active member of the Waynesville Rotary Club and a former member of the local advisory board of the Salvation Army.
