A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Jennifer Kinberger has called Baton Rouge home for more than 20 years. Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in general studies with minors in anthropology, history, and women’s and gender studies from LSU. She received her master’s degree in communication studies from LSU in 2006.. Although she loved teaching, Jennifer decided to return to LSU in 2009 to pursue a law degree to satisfy her passion for learning. She earned several awards for her high grades in legal research and writing, administrative law, gender and the law, successions, donations, and trusts. During law school, she was a member of the Louisiana Law Review and a professor’s research assistant, working on law review articles and a textbook. She also had externships with U.S. District Court Judge Brian A. Jackson and the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office. She is a member of the American Association for Justice. Jennifer has a Juris Doctor and Diploma in Comparative Law. She is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, an organization that promotes justice in the workplace and the honor and dignity of the legal profession.
