Mr. Chawla has also served as the General Counsel to the Indian American Medical Association for several years. Mr. Chawla served the United States Senate on the Senate Special Committee on Aging as a Congressional Fellow. As a Congressional Fellow, Mr. Chawla worked extensively on researching and drafting proposed legislation to address the healthcare manpower shortages in rural America. Mr. Chawla is licensed to practice in Illinois and the Federal District Court of Northern Illinois.
