Jacquelyn Smith ClarkeAttorney at LawHBS Atlanta Office. P: F:E:. Jacquelyn Smith Clarke is an Associate in our Atlanta office. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Walter F. George School of Law, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. In law school, she was a member of the Mercer Law Review, the Journal of Southern Legal History, and the Mercer Advocacy Council. She competed in two national moot court competitions where she gained valuable experience as an oral advocate and brief captain. She also coordinated the student mentor program at Mercer and received the Dean’s Award for Distinguished Service to the Law School. Ms. Clarke is also published in the Mercer Law Review.. Ms. Clarke attended Berry College for her undergraduate studies, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Government and Philosophy, magna cum laude, and served as a Research Assistant. Through the Bonner Scholar Program, she was also very involved in community service and served as the captain for the women’s running team. She spent her summers with the Georgia Innocence Project, where she received the Equal Justice Works Education Award for public service, and as a Summer Associate with HBS.. She has worked on cases with multi-million dollar exposure throughout the Southeast, including cases in Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama and in multiple practices, including catastrophic injury, product defect,  wrongful death, trucking, professional negligence / legal malpractice, coverage disputes, and construction.
