She is currently an elected officer for the Family Law Section of the Kentucky Bar Association, current director of the Mediation Center of Kentucky, member anf former head of the Kentucky Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, former head of the Fayette County Bar Association, Family Court section and participates in a number of local community non-profit groups. She has had a substantial impact on Kentucky law in the areas of child custody and timesharing as well as division of pension plans and financial valuation of corporate ownership.
