Matthew D. Melewski is an accomplished litigator who has successfully argued cases and appeals in state and federal courts throughout the country. Matthew also counsels clients on regulatory and environmental matters.  He has handled more proceedings involving the regulation of ballast water than any attorney in the country, and in successful Clean Water Act litigations alone, has pioneered novel legal theories and procedural strategies, and argued first-of-their-kind cases. Finally, much of his time focuses on important human rights and civil liberties, entirely on a pro bono basis..
