Greg Handevidt has been representing clients at the state and federal levels for more than 11 years. He currently practices exclusively in the area of criminal law, but has extensive experience in the areas of bankruptcy, family law, juvenile dependency law and civil litigation. His focus is helping clients through what can be a stressful time in their lives. His goal is to take on the problems that give his clients sleepless nights and use his experience, and talents, to guide them through what can be a complex and intimidating process.. Admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota, the State of California (currently inactive), the Federal District Court for the Southern District of California, the Federal District Court for the Central District of California, and the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota, Greg has represented hundreds of clients since 2002. He places high emphasis on close, direct interaction between attorney and client. That close, attorney/client relationship leads to the best possible results.. A native Southern Minnesotan, Greg grew up in Jackson, Minnesota where he graduated from high school. Prior to attending law school, Greg was a working musician and served 10 years of active duty in the United States Navy. He understands the unique issues members of the military, and veterans, face when dealing with legal matters; and, he is well suited to help service members deal with those unique obstacles. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from National University in San Diego, California, and a Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California. While in law school, he won several prestigious awards in the area of Juvenile Dependency Law, including the Cali Excellence For The Future Award, The Witkin Award for Academic Excellence, and the Jefferson Medal.
