Ms. Shapiro has effectively defended Driving Under the Influence matters, possession of controlled susbtances, theft, and other misdemeanor charges in the Philadelphia Municipal Court system. Similarly, in the many NJ Municipal Courts, Ms. Shapiro has represented defendants in DWI matters, shoplifting cases, drug crimes, and other disorderly persons offenses. In addition, Ms. Shapiro has significant legal research and writing experience, having handled complex legal arguments at the trial court level and on appeal to courts such as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
