Attorney Hamid Towfigh was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from Santa Monica High School with high honors in 1990. After graduating high school he attended UCLA and majored in Business-Economics, graduating magna cum laude in 1994 at age 19, the youngest of his class. He attended Loyola Law School that year, was on the Dean’s Honor List, and in May 1997 at age 22 received his Juris Doctor degree again becoming the youngest lawyer of his class. He is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola Law School where he will be the first law professor in the nation to teach The Art of Jury Selection.. In July 1999 Mr. Towfigh was chosen by twice elected Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti as a Deputy District Attorney. After only 6 months as a prosecutor Mr. Towfigh started prosecuting serious felony cases in courts across Los Angeles County.
