Guy M. Rodgers is a self-proclaimed nerd, with a passion for board games, fencing, and Star Wars.  Throughout his educational career, Guy has worked in the IT industry, and finds himself at home alongside server racks and fellow nerds.  He became an attorney in order to practice at the intersection of law and technology, with the goal of helping everyone from garage inventors to startups to even Google with their legal and business affairs.. He earned his B.S. degree in Cognitive Science with College Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles.  While at UCLA, Guy studied a diverse range of coursework including artificial intelligence, signal detection theory, and complexity science.  A “Double Bruin,” he then earned his J.D., with a specialization in Intellectual Property, from the UCLA School of Law.  During law school, Guy served as the Chief Technology Editor of the Journal of Law and Technology, and he passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.  He is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.. As a patent lawyer, Guy’s interests include computer software and hardware, chemical formulae, telecommunications, and cryptocurrencies.  Out of the office, Guy loves live music, zombies, and spending time with his two cats, Purrmanganate and Kaiju.
