In 2003, Sharon received the Judith P. Ritchey Achievement Award, presented by the Baltimore County Bar Association. In 2008, she was named a Maryland SuperLawyer in Baltimore Magazine.. Sharon is a frequent lecturer to professional and community groups. She has given talks on Social Security Disability Law to the Lupus Foundation of America - Delaware-Maryland-Virginia, Brain Injury Association of Maryland, NAMI - Baltimore and the Spondylitis Association.. Sharon lives in Cockeysville, Maryland with her husband, Joe. She is an avid runner and has completed the Baltimore and Maryland Half Marathons. Sharon is also an active in the community. A past president of the Executive Women’s Network, she currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Snyder Foundation for Animals, the Brain Injury Associatiobn of maryland, NAMI - Baltimore and the Lupus Foundation of America - DMV.
