He is also an appointed member of the Rhode Island Commission on Judicial Tenure and Discipline, an member of the Rhode Island Commodores and is a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island/Omega Class. He has been recognized for his skills as a corporate attorney in the New England edition of Super Lawyers.
