Kellie Howell practices in all areas of family law and criminal defense. Ms. Howell was selected to the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 Super Lawyers Oklahoma Rising Stars list. In addition, Kellie has previously worked with the Hunsucker DUI Defense Firm, Oklahoma Juvenile Justice Center, and Oklahoma City University School of Law. Kellie is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma state courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Robert J. Turner American Inn of Court, and Chair for the Oklahoma County Bar Association Law Day committee.. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating Cum Laude, and a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University, graduating Cum Laude. While in law school, she served as President of the Merit Scholars, Vice President of the American Bar Association, and Historian for Phi Delta Phi. In addition, Ms. Howell interned with the Oklahoma County Public Defender, Juvenile Division and was named a Holloway Scholar by the Oklahoma City Federal Bar Association.. Kellie is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served as a Security Police Officer stationed at Spangdahlem Air Force Base, Germany and Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX. While at Lackland, Ms. Howell was named Airman of the Quarter. Kellie also did tours in Tuzla, Bosnia, Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia, and Muscat, Oman. Kellie received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal and the NATO Medal.. In her free time, Kellie’s hobbies include traveling, reading, cooking and enjoying life’s adventures with her family.
