Eleanor Beavers Haynes is an experienced Bankruptcy, Taxation, Immigration, and Business lawyer. She is dedicated to her Profession and to providing excellent legal services to her clients. Ms Haynes is the founder of Hayneslaw, PLLC in Houston, and formerly practiced as a Partner in the law firms of Haynes & Haynes, LLC and Haynes, Thompson, Steward, LLC in Columbus, Ohio.  She served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General for over twenty years in the areas of Bankruptcy and Tax, and was an active Bankruptcy Trustee with the United States Trustee’s Office in Ohio.  Ms. Haynes recently retired as an Adjunct Professor of  Tax Law from the University of Houston Law Center, and previously held the same posititon at Capital University’s Law School in Columbus Ohio. She was also an Assistant Professor of Business Law at Eastern Kentucky University and has led continuing legal education seminars in the areas of tax and bankruptcy law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the National Bar Association, and the Houston Lawyers Association.  Ms. Haynes is involved in a variety of civic and professional organizations in the Houston area. . She holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from The Ohio State University, and received her J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Capital University Law School.
