Sticking close to home, Mike attended the Louisiana State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After graduation, however, Mike left his home state to attend the Baylor University School of Law in Waco, TX. While pursuing his law degree—which he received with honors—he served on the Baylor Law Review as an associate editor and was also an active member of the Baylor Moot Court Team.. Upon graduation, Mike went to work at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, which is one of nation's most recognized and distinguished law firms. During his time there, he gained considerable knowledge of litigation practices. He not only represented healthcare providers, but insurance companies, as well; he even represented cases before the Texas Department of Insurance. This, while challenging and interesting, was not where his passion lay and he eventually left to accept a position at Arnold & Itkin in 2007; he later became a partner in 2011.. Now, Mike is able to spend his time working to protect the legal rights of the injured in cases nationwide. He has been able to try more than 20 cases to verdict in state and federal courts alike, and he has been seen in courts throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Throughout his career, he has set himself apart from his peers and works tirelessly to ensure his clients have the dynamic, effective representation they deserve.
