Jeff is an Associate Attorney in the Seattle office of GLP Attorneys and a member of the firm's Motions and Appellate Practice Department. Jeff received his Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark Law School in May 2008 where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship. While in law school, he received the Outstanding Client Advocacy Award from the Lewis and Clark Legal Clinic for his work representing low-income taxpayers in matters before the Internal Revenue Service. While part of the Clinic, Jeff and another student attorney prevailed at trial helping a low-income client avoid eviction from public housing.. Jeff also received his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law in March 2010.. After law school, Jeff was an Associate Attorney with a plaintiff’s law firm in Bellevue focusing on commercial litigation where he managed hundreds of cases and regularly appeared and successfully argued dispositive motions in courts across Washington State.. Prior to joining GLP Attorneys, Jeff was a Senior Attorney with Moss Adams, LLP in Seattle. In this position he represented clients in hearings and appeals in front of the Internal Revenue Service and state tax boards.. Jeff has also done pro bono work as a volunteer attorney with the University of Washington Federal Tax Clinic, where he represented clients in administrative cases and collection matters before the Internal Revenue Service.. Jeff is a diehard Washington Huskies fan and in his free time he enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and bulldog Stella.
