During her law school career, she was a regional finalist for the American Bar Association (ABA) National Moot Court Competition in 2019; Best Oralist in the SIU Intramural Moot Court competition; 2L/3L ABA Moot Court team captain; 3L First Amendment Moot Court Team Captain; national liaison for the Federal Bar Association; president of Phi Delta Phi Honors Legal Fraternity; student director of the Transgender Legal Name Change and Gender Marker Project pro bono clinic; and 2L class SBA Representative in 2017-2018. She completed more than 350 hours of pro bono work throughout her law school career, and has a passion for important social causes, including equal rights and environmental issues..
