I will fight for you to get the charges reduced, or dismissed when possible. I am an experienced criminal & DWI defense attorney practicing in Westchester County as well as the NYC metro area, including the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Rockland, Putnam and Nassau Counties. I provide zealous representation for people charged with felony and misdemeanor offenses, including DWI/DUI, assault, larceny, weapon possession, drug crimes, robbery, burglary, identity theft, internet crimes, and sex crimes. Since I began practicing criminal defense in 2007, I have represented thousands of clients, and spent countless hours in court. I know how to negotiate with judges and prosecutors, and I am in constant contact with my clients so they know what to expect, and have a full understanding of their case.. I went to law school for the purpose of practicing in the criminal law field, doing internships in both prosecutorial and defense based offices. After law school I joined Nassau County Legal Aid Society, where I gained a lot of experience by being thrown in the fire of litigation shortly after my employment began. By the end of my three-and-a-half year tenure there, I was handling most of the felony DWI cases and felony DWI litigation for legal aid. After I left legal aid, I went to work in private practice, initially working with an immigration firm in Queens, representing all of the firm's clients in their criminal matters as well as immigration hearings in federal court.. I left the immigration law firm to join a small firm in Westchester County that handled criminal defense and personal injury. I handled all of the firm's criminal defense cases, appearing in local courts all around Westchester and Rockland, as well as the NYC metro area. I also handled a significant caseload of personal injury, civil rights and commercial litigation cases.. I left that firm after three years to start my own firm in July 2014, focusing on criminal and DWI/DUI defense. I fight hard for my clients' rights, and provide them with the attention their cases deserve. I am committed to making sure my clients have a full understanding of their case, as well as the ability to reach me anytime to ask questions or raise concerns.
