David W. Clark is the founder and owner of the firm and concentrates his practice in the trial of personal injury and workers compensation. Mr. Clark practices before all state and federal courts in Illinois and was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2005. He is a member of the Federal Trial Bar.. Education and background:  Mr. Clark received his Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in a double major of Speech Communication and English from Indiana University in 1989. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola-University of Chicago in 1992. He is very active in the DuPage County Bar Association and served as chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the illinois Trial Lawyers Association.. Work Experience:  Mr. Clark started his legal career working at a prominent personal injury law firm in Chicago where he was trying cases to verdict after his first year. While there, he also started to practice in the area of commercial and construction litigation.. In 1996, Mr. Clark joined PSNRB Ltd concentrating in commercial cases such as those involving banks as well as continuing to represent contractors in their construction cases. He retained his practice in personal injury and workers’ compensation (both Plaintiff as well as Defense) obtaining several multi-million dollar settlements for injured Plaintiffs.. In November 2011, Mr. Clark opened the Law Office of David W. Clark, P.C. in order to devote his practice solely to the Plaintiff's side of personal injury as well as worker's compensation while maintaining his commercial litgation practice. From November 1, 2011-January 31, 2013, Mr. Clark has obtained over $5 million dollars worth of settlements for his injured clients.. Hobbies and Interests: Mr. Clark is an Eagle Scout and a former local Boy Scout Leader. He volunteers his legal talent to Administer  Justice and their Legal Aid Clinic each month and is active in his church at Wheaton Bible. He is an accomplished runner having completed a marathon in every state and also finished an Ironman Triathlon. He currently races with his son as a member of the Athletes by Design (ABD) cycle club and is a charter member of the 50 States Marathon Club.
