Representative cases include Lasseigne v. Taco Bell, 202 F. Supp. 2d 512 (ED.La.2002) where Nicole defeated a multi-million dollar claim for damages involving an alleged brain injury, caused by a choking incident, resulting in impotency, migraines and PTSD. After having all of plaintiff’s expert testimony on causation excluded under Daubert as unreliable, these claims were dismissed.. Ms. Loeb’s insurance defense and construction practice is devoted to the representation of insurance companies and their insureds against property damage and personal injury claims, as well as prosecuting claims on their behalf. Ms. Loeb’s maritime practice is devoted to the representation of oil and gas producers, as well as oilfield contractors, defending them against personal injury and property damage claims and prosecuting claims on their behalf for property damage and lost revenues. Her litigation practice is divided between state and federal courts.. In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Loeb is an active volunteer in the community.
