I am a regular writer and speaker, having presented many seminars and lectures to professional, construction and civic groups throughout the State of Iowa, surrounding states and international locations concerning construction-related legal issues.. My undergraduate degree from Iowa State University is in Construction Engineering and prior to attending law school, I was a contractor and real estate developer for over fourteen years. I obtained my law degree from Drake University in 1992, graduating Order of the Coif.
