She attended college at UNCW, majoring in communications and political science with a minor in public administration. After graduating from UNCW in 2002, she attended law school at the University of Miami and graduated in December 2005. After passing the North Carolina Bar in 2006, she worked as an Associate Attorney at Shapiro & Ingle, one of the largest foreclosure firms in NC and then at Brock, Payne & Meece, also practicing Real Estate Law. She opened her own practice in August 2010 with offices in Raleigh and Durham. She was married in 2011 to Hugh Harris and has two beautiful daughters...Ella and Nora.
