Tristan F. Rivera is a founder and an injury attorney for the Rivera Law Group.  Tristan does not just have experience like most other attorneys. He has experience that matters.. His diverse background allows him to not only endear himself to each and every client, but also enables him to successfully navigate personal injury claims from their inception to trial.. Tristan was born in Zamboanga City, Philippines, but spent most of his early childhood in Northern California – in Oakland and then, Stockton. The details of his time in California are sketchy, but being raised by immigrant parents, he learned the value of hard work, perseverance and a good fight.  It was here that he also learned the art of the hustle.. Once graduating from law school, a local insurance defense firm hired Tristan and he went to the dark side to defend prominent Las Vegas nightclubs and casinos in the courtroom.  While working for the insurance companies, Tristan learned the ins and outs of their tactics  - knowledge that he now uses to the advantage of his personal injury clients.  He knows full well what it takes to make insurance companies pay.. Equipped with this insider knowledge, Tristan successfully transitioned to a law firm where he exclusively represented personal injury plaintiffs against the corporations he had previously defended.  Working at this fast-paced environment, he discovered his passion for fighting for the rights of the victims of negligence. Tristan’s clients will tell you that his devotion to personally address their concerns is surpassed only by his passion to get them the results they deserve.. Tristan’s interests extend beyond personal injury.  He is involved with Las Vegas Rescue Mission and commits his time to supporting local and national efforts to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.. In his spare time, Tristan makes an effort to go to the gym in a vain attempt to recapture his youth.  At one point, he was even an amateur boxer.  Being a lawyer, however, has robbed him of the luxury to turn up to work with a black eye, so instead of his fists, he now fights with his mind.. He wins.
