Shannon L. Evans provides transaction legal services and consultation regarding areas of specialty in both Nevada and California and possesses a LL.M. in Taxation. Shannon graduated from the University of Santa Barbara with a BA in Business and Economics in 1983 and the University of San Diego Law School in 1986. She obtained her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of San Diego in 1996. Shannon was appointed by Congress to attend the Retirement Savers Summit in Washington, D.C., in 1998. Many of the topics of discussion are now reflected as changes in retirement planning and the feasibility of our Social Security System for future generations.. Shannon was admitted to practice law in California in 1990 and Nevada in 1991. Shannon also is a member of the National LGBT Bar Association and Vegas PBS Planned Giving Committee.. Shannon has published articles in Ed Slott’s IRA Advisor, Dental Economics Magazine, Nevada Woman’s Magazine and has speaking engagements with Ed Slott’s IRA Advisor groups and Vegas PBS.. Shannon’s interests include horseback riding, reading, contemporary art, wine tasting and public speaking.
