About Eric Faddis
Before becoming a founding member of Varner Faddis Elite Legal, Eric was an attorney at the prestigious firm of Springer & Steinberg, where he handled criminal and civil matters and learned from one of the best trial attorneys in the nation, Harvey Steinberg. Prior to that, Eric served as Deputy District Attorney for Arapahoe County in both the general felony and Special Victims units. There, he prosecuted thousands of cases including First Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, Sex Assault on a Child, domestic violence, and DUIs. Along with now-judge Jay Williford, Eric handled the publicized prosecution and trial of a well-known public figure and son of a local sports team owner. Eric has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers organization as one of the "Top 40 Under 40" criminal defense trial lawyers in Colorado, and by The American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys as one of the "10 Best Criminal Law Attorneys" in Colorado for client satisfaction. Eric has conducted 45 jury trials and hundreds of motions hearings throughout his career. Formerly, Eric worked for the Denver District Attorneys Office’s Gang Unit and was selected to serve as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Margie Enquist. At the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Eric gained membership to the Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity and was appointed a supervisory position on the Law Review. Eric has done pro bono legal work for the Navajo Nation Supreme Court and volunteers as a judge for the Denver Urban Debate League and presenter for the Hate Crimes Education Task Force. When not in the courtroom or office, Eric enjoys lifting weights, reading philosophy, meditating, and playing guitar.
