Kari Jensen is an associate attorney at Chapman Law Firm.  Her practice is mainly in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation.  Born and raised on a farm in Divide County, North Dakota, Kari learned the importance of hard work and perseverance at an early age.. An experienced criminal defense attorney, Kari has successfully represented numerous clients in misdemeanor and felony cases including DUIs, Assaults, Domestic Violence, Drug Possession and Distribution, and major traffic offenses, as well as Revocation of Probation.  Kari is also experienced in civil litigation cases involving contract issues, evictions, real estate disputes, foreclosures, and various other matters.  From representing clients in the courtroom to researching and writing legal briefs, Kari strongly advocates for her clients.. Kari is a graduate of North Dakota State University and the University of Montana School of Law.  She is admitted to practice in North Dakota and Montana State and Federal Courts.  Kari is a member of the North Dakota Association for Justice and various other community organizations.. Kari and her husband have two grown children and two grandchildren.  When not in the office, Kari enjoys time with her family, perfecting her culinary skills, flower gardening, traveling and DIY remodeling projects.
