Shereef is the founding partner of Akeel & Valentine, PLC -. Akeel was selected by as a Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA). Akeel has, also, taken his work internationally where he filed a class action lawsuit against multibillion dollar corporation for engaging in acts of torture, and against an international contractor for harming American Personnel.. Akeel obtained his Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan in 1987. He graduated from Michigan State University College of law in 1996. Akeel, also, has a CPA, and a Masters in Business Administration from Wayne State University.
