Brian J. Small is a shareholder of the Firm and manages the Firm’s Bankruptcy Department, Consumer Financial Crisis Management Department, as well as the Estate Planning Department. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., 1989) and University of Richmond School of Law where he earned a Law degree in 1992. Brian practices in the areas of Bankruptcy law, debt resolution, and debtor work-out arrangements for consumers and businesses as well as Estate Planning for Wills and Trusts.. Brian has been a frequent speaker at local and national seminars on Bankruptcy and Financial Crisis Management over the past several years. He is a Co-Host of the Law and Reality TV & Radio Show. The show airs on TV50 in Metro Detroit at 8:00 AM on Sunday. He is also the Co-Host of Law and Reality Live which airs as a radio show Tuesdays at 10:00 am on WPZR FM and 7:00 am on Sunday on Kiss FM. Brian is the current Vice President of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association and is a recurring member of the planning committee with regard to planning the annual Steven Rhodes Annual Consumer Bankruptcy Conference, sponsored jointly by the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Consumer Bankruptcy Association. Mr. Small is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, as well as the Institute for Continuing Legal Education. He has recently co-authored an attorney practice manual for Bankruptcy for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
