Hello – my name is Krystal M. Tate. I am a licensed attorney in both California and Washington State.I grew up in Colville, Washington, and graduated cum laude from Whitworth University in 2008 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Creative Writing and English Literature, then proceeded directly into law school at the Seattle University School of Law, where I received my Juris Doctor in 2011 with cum laude honors and a focus in Estate Planning. I was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2011 at the age of 23.Throughout and after law school, I worked with several civil litigation firms as well as with the Washington State Association for Justice, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the rights of injured people. I then clerked for the Honorable Michael T. Downes, the presiding judge of Snohomish County Superior Court. At Deno Millikan Law Firm, an eight-attorney firm in Washington, I practiced family law as well as the full range of civil litigation. From 2013 through 2016, I practiced estate planning and trust litigation in Los Gatos, California. Now, with a broad spectrum of experience under my belt, I have resettled in my hometown of Colville, Washington, where I practice general civil litigation with the firm of McGrane & Schuerman.In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, showing my Grand Champion Samoyed, Enzo, watching sports, playing with local musicians, and discovering new things.
