John Ralls, a retired physician, is active in the oil and gas industry assisting land owners and mineral owners in negotiations with petroleum companies. In addition to his legal experience in natural resource law, Ralls holds a B.S. in Geology with additional training in the field of petroleum geology. Ralls works in the areas of exploration and discovery, production and secondary recovery of oil and gas.. Ralls constantly reviews, creates and modifies mineral leases domestically and internationally.  He is most active in the Alabama and Missisippi oil and gas industry dealing with mineral rights and leasing, royalty valuations and sales, prospect acquisitions and exploration.  Ralls assists land owners and mineral owners across the country in understanding their lease terms and in achieving the best lease terms available.. John was born in Andalusia, Alabama and grew up in Conecuh County. He has undergraduate degrees from Auburn University and the University of South Alabama, and began his medical education at Temple University in Philadelphia before graduating from Kent State University with a doctorate in podiatric medicine. Dr. Ralls completed his surgical training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He returned to Pensacola, where he established his Florida practice, while also practicing in Alabama. After 17 years in practice, he retired after completing his juris doctorate at Mississippi College's School of Law. He is admitted to the bar in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee and Washington, DC.
