About Brett Wishart
I was born and raised in southern California. I graduated from Brigham Young University (B.A., History, 2000) and Western State University College of Law (J.D., 2004, Scholarly Merit). All through law school, I worked as a law clerk for my father, Barry J. Wishart, who had practiced family law since 1982. As such, I have been in the business for more than 13 years and have been trained by one of the elite attorneys in the county.. I have been married for more than fifteen years. I also have eight children. I am a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Family Law Section, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. In 2006, I was elected and appointed to the Executive Committee of the Orange County Bar Association's Family Law Section, where I served until 2009. In 2013, I was appointed as a member of the State Bar Family Law Section Executive Committee (FLEXCOMM), Orange County Standing Committee.. I have authored several articles on the subject of family law which have been published at , an online magazine or e-zine. I volunteer time and am featured as an "Expert" of the "Divorce Support Center" (), a non profit organization that helps individuals and families in crisis.. My practice is exclusively dedicated to Family Law. I currently accept cases in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles counties.
