I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from the Academy of Math and Science High School in 1990. I then served a term of enlistment in the United States Air Force as an Electronic Warfare Technician. Upon returning to the St. Louis Metropolitan area, I completed my undergraduate studies and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 1998.. I attended St. Louis University School of Law, and graduated in 2001, the same year I was admitted to the Missouri Bar. During Law School, I was a member of the National Moot Court Team for St. Louis University and took numerous classes emphasizing my interest in civil litigation. Also, during Law School, I interned at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and provided legal services under my Rule 13 Certification to many disadvantaged clients throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area.. Upon graduating from Law School I did civil defense work for a well respected St. Louis Firm. I concentrated in defending first and third party claims on behalf of insurance companies and their insureds for a period of almost 10 years before joining the Thurman Law Firm.. I concentrate my practice in the areas of Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Worker's Compensation and Social Security Disability.
