Andrew R. Young concentrates his practice primarily in truck, commercial vehicle and car collision litigation that results in wrongful death and personal injury.  Not only being licenced as an Attorney, Mr. Young possesses a Class A, Commercial Drivers License, and is an owner of a semi-tractor.  Mr. Young's experience provides his clients with a unique inside perspective into trucking related safety regulations, driver qualifications, and maintenance issues.  He also handles mass tort litigation for product liability medical device cases.  Mr. Young has served a number of years as a Trustee of the Ohio Association for Justice and in 2011 received the Ester S. Weissman Optimist Award and was a Distinguished Service Award recipient in 2003.  Mr. Young has served a number of years as a Director of the Board of Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys and also as Chairmain of the Negligence Section of the Lorain County Bar Association.  Obtaining combined trial verdicts totaling more than $4.6 Million, and Settlements far beyond that figure, Mr. Young's trial experience has been recognized by his peers through an invitation and election into the membership of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  He has further been recognized by a Supreme Court Justice with a nomination and appointment to the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Legal Education Opportunity.  He was also appointed by a Federal Judge to serve on the Magistrate Selection Committee for the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio.  He has received numerous additional judicial appointments to serve as a Delegate to the Conference of the Eighth Judicial District.  Mr. Young has also been elected as a Council-at-Large in his home town and has been appointed to and served on a variety of city related boards and committees.  Mr. Young is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Washington, D.C.
