I am an attorney specializing in consumer bankruptcy, debt settlement, mortgage modification, and foreclosure litigation. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad School of Law with honors and volunteered over 300 hours of service to Legal Aid of Broward County during my academic career. At Legal Aid, I worked in the Consumer Unit providing bankruptcy, foreclosure, and consumer protection services to those who could not afford it otherwise. My commitment to protecting and enforcing the rights of South Florida consumers and homeowners in a personal and professional manner led me to open the Law Office of Emil Fleysher, P.A.. My practice is dedicated to helping my fellow South Floridians regain their financial freedom when they have been trapped by overwhelming debt that they have little or no prospect of repaying. The primary source of such debt is usually rooted in high interest credit cards, bad mortgage loans, and uninsured medical expenses. The laws of Florida and of the United States provide us with rights and protections against these categories of bad debt.
