Two years later, Lee Ann was promoted to Assistant City Attorney in the civil division of the City Attorney's Office - handling all aspects of municipal law. She ended her career with the City in 2013 as the Senior Assistant City Attorney/ Police Legal Advisor for the Odessa Police Department.
