I founded Poly-Tech in 1977 to provide forensic polygraph services to defense or prosecuting attorneys, and corporate consulting services in loss prevention and applicant screening.. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the University of Akron, studying criminal justice and technical education. I later earned my law degree at the University of Akron, graduating with distinction. As a polygraphist I am certified by the National Training Center of Polygraph Science.. I frequently serves as an expert witness relating to polygraph, and have testified as an expert in the area of security, loss prevention and non-verbal communication/statement analysis. My testimony has been introduced in federal, state and Local courts.. In addition to owning and managing Poly-Tech, I have served as a part-time member of the faculty at the University of Akron, teaching in the Department of Criminal Justice. An accomplished speaker and author, I have appeared before numerous legal, business, academic and community organizations from the local to national level. In 2007, I spoke in Dresden, Germany at the request of the US Army Trial Defense Services in Europe..
