I've spent most of my life in the Northeast Ohio area. I attended Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, and graduated in 2001. Thereafter, I enrolled at Mount Union College where I majored in Political Science, and minored in History and Pre-Law. Upon graduation in 2006, I moved to Lansing, Michigan, where I attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. I graduated near the top of my class in 2009, and began working for the Canton Prosecutor's office soon after. While working in Canton, I prosecuted criminal cases and investigated claims brought to me by the people of the city and surrounding areas. Working for the prosecutor, I developed a thorough understanding of the local criminal system, and how to navigate through it.After working at the prosecutor's office, I began employment with Attorney Christine D. Finan in Akron, Ohio. While working for Attorney Finan, I dealt with a wide array of family law issues, as well as wills and the Akron criminal system. In 2010 I began my own practice so that I could use my knowledge and experience to help the community that I've spent the vast majority of my life in. I look forward to addressing the legal needs of the people of the area, and hope to make a difference in the lives of those I represent. If you have a legal problem big or small, call me today so we can confront the issues head on, and prevent any unnecessary hardship to you and your family.
I've been trying business cases throughout Ohio and beyond for over thirty years - and I hope to keep doing so for a lot more. To me, the most rewarding part of trying these cases is explaining complex issues a client may be facing in ways jurors can understand. It's all about relating to the jury and being creative.
I wont bs you and tell you what you want to hear. I tell you what you need to hear. Aggressive but humble; always analytical. I calculate odds. With striking efficiency.

Some of those cases involved:. A man launched from his neighbor's tree while he was using a chainsaw to remove the top of the tree,. A blind man who stepped into a hole dug by his dog while trying to get out of the way of another man backing a trailer into the blind man's driveway,. A professional entertainer who was injured when the trapeze from which she was hanging broke,. A man who was burned on the face and neck by chili that he had obtained from a vending machine,. A woman who was injured when the ceiling collapsed in the bathroom of her apartment, and. A large man who was injured when he fell through the decking on a public boat dock.

I grew up in the Southtowns of Buffalo before attending high school in the city. In the summer before starting college at SUNY Geneseo, I immediately started my working career in the construction business. I held the position of project monitor and inspector for four years while earning my degree in Geneseo. That job took me across Western New York and into countless demolition and renovation sites.. My experience as a blue-collar worker taught me the value of hard-work. Those four years were a major factor in leading me to fight for the rights of injured workers. I began the fight by attending Law School at the University at Buffalo. The worker in me could not just sit idly by. Throughout law school, I worked three jobs: coaching soccer at Canisius High School, working as a law clerk in asbestos litigation, and putting in hours at my previous, construction job.. Finally, I graduated law school and was admitted to practice law in the State of New York. In 2016, I was thrilled to accept a position with Nicholas, Perot, Smith, Bernhardt & Zosh. While I am no longer considered a blue-collar worker, I am pleased to apply those values to enthusiastically representing workers across Western New York in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury.

However, if a trial in a court of law is necessary, I bring extensive experience and a respected reputation as a very effective litigator with a proven track record of success.. I firmly believe that every person, no matter who you are, where you live or how much money you have is entitled to justice in our legal system.
